Cesare Benedetti set to join Italy on loan

Cesare Bono has agreed a loan move to Italian club Zebre.

The 27-year-old is the first player to sign on loan with the Serie A side from Roma since Gianluca Zambrotta joined the Serie B club last summer.

The striker will join the Giallorossi on loan until the end of the season.

Zebre have already agreed a fee for the player, with an option for him to leave on a permanent basis.

The deal was confirmed on Tuesday by the Zebres Sporting Director, Gianlucia Zambrotti.

“It is with great joy that we announce that Cesare has signed for Zebrias Sporting Academy on a loan from Roma.

It was decided that the loan will last until the conclusion of the upcoming season,” Zambrotti said.”

I am very pleased to announce the signing of Cesare.

He is a good talent and we’re very happy to have him for a long time.

He’ll be a big part of our team.”

The transfer is expected to be completed in the next few days.

Zambrotti is expected at the club’s pre-season training camp in Italy.
