How to protect yourself from ‘lone wolf’ attacks

Two weeks after a man killed five people at a Colorado gun range and wounded two others with a single gunshot at a nearby movie theater, the manhunt for the shooter remains at an end.

Authorities announced Friday that they had arrested two people in connection with the attack, and they are offering a $2 million reward for information leading to an arrest.

The suspect was arrested in the Colorado city of Denver, where he was wanted for the shootings, police said.

The attack was the worst mass shooting in the United States since July 2016, when a gunman killed 49 people at the Lafayette, Louisiana, theater.

Authorities are still searching for the suspect, whom they described as a lone wolf.

Police also said the shooter was known to the local sheriff’s department.

They described him as a mentally unstable man who had recently moved to the city, which has a large African-American population.

Police said the motive was unclear and the shooter had no known ties to other cities.

The shooter, described as white, 20 years old, between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, had a tattoo on his left arm that read “no matter what you think.”

He had a large tattoo of a handgun on his chest and was wearing a black sweatshirt.

Authorities said he had a history of domestic violence and had a gun and ammunition in his vehicle.

In addition to the victims, the shooter wounded two other people before he was shot by a SWAT team member, authorities said.

Authorities also said he killed two other women and wounded three others.

The investigation is ongoing.
